Your baby’s first birthday is a truly special milestone — and a cake smash session is the perfect way to capture the joy, personality, and sweet chaos of turning ONE!
As a mobile photographer, I bring everything to your home, creating a relaxed and familiar space where your little one can shine. I work with a neutral, timeless backdrop that keeps the focus on your baby and the beautiful moments we create together.
Sessions begin with classic portraits before introducing the cake — and then we let the fun begin! Think frosting-covered fingers, cheeky smiles, and genuine giggles you'll want to remember forever.

When is the right time to book?
The best time to book your cake smash session is a few months in advance, especially if you’d like your photos ready in time for birthday celebrations or invitations. While many families choose to schedule the session just before baby turns one, cake smashes can take place anytime between 11 and 14 months. This allows for flexibility around your baby’s development and personality — whether they’re just starting to stand or already on the move, we’ll capture their unique charm just as they are.
What to expect from your in home newborn photography session?
Your baby’s comfort is always my top priority. Because I photograph in your home, your little one can feel more relaxed and settled in their familiar environment — and we go entirely at their pace, allowing plenty of time for cuddles, snacks, and breaks as needed.
The session begins with clean, classic portraits, capturing your baby in a calm and happy moment. You’re welcome to provide one or two outfits you’d like them photographed in, and we can also include a family image with parents and siblings if you’d like.
Once those timeless shots are captured, we move on to the fun part — the cake smash! You can choose to supply your own cake, or I can provide one for an additional cost. And don’t worry — all the mess is fully contained, so you don’t have to lift a finger when it comes to cleanup.
Expect giggles, frosting-covered fingers, and natural, joy-filled moments — all beautifully documented for you to treasure.

The covers my entire process from photographing your baby to preparing your images ready for your final viewing gallery.
Images and products are not included and are available to choose and purchase once you have had the opportunity to view them.
A viewing appointment will be booked in for approximately two weeks after your photoshoot.
